NOTICE of tariff change - 2016 electric rates

FORM NO. 1 FORM OF NOTICE TO CHANGE TARIFFS AS DEFINED IN REGULATION NO. 5 NOTICE NOVEMBER 23, 2015 NOTICE OF A CHANGE IN TARIFFS OF MOUNTAIN PARKS ELECTRIC, INC. 321 WEST AGATE AVENUE P O BOX 170 GRANBY, COLORADO 80446 You are hereby notified that the above named Corporation proposes to make the following changes in its tariffs, to become effective on billings made on and after January 1, 2016.

General Service, Rate Tariff 202.01 – Small:
applicable to Customers with a peak demand of less than 50 kW for the most recent twelve months, ending with the current billing period, taking electric service supplied at one point of delivery, and measured through one meter used for residential, farming and ranching, and small commercial purposes will be increased on average approximately 2.83%, with an anticipated increase in revenues of $690,909.

Rate Tariff 202.02 General Service – Time-Of-Use:
applicable to Customers with a Cooperative approved Electric Thermal Storage heating system taking electric service supplied at one point of delivery, and measured through one meter used for residential, farming and ranching, and commercial purposes will be increased on average approximately 2.79%, with an anticipated increase in revenues of $22,962.

Rate Tariff 202.03 Small Power:
applicable to Customers with a peak demand of more than 25 kW but less than 50 kW for the most recent twelve months, ending with the current billing period, taking electric service supplied at one point of delivery, and measured through one meter used for commercial purposes, will be increased on average approximately 3.25%, with an anticipated increase in revenues of $26,523.

Rate Tariff 202.04 Large Power:
applicable to Customers with a peak demand of 50 kW or greater for the most recent twelve months, ending with the current billing period, taking electric service supplied at one point of delivery, and measured through one meter used for commercial and industrial purposes will be increased on average approximately 2.68%, with an anticipated increase in revenues of $148,988.

Rate Tariff 202.05 Large Power Time-Of-Use:
applicable to Customers with a peak demand of 500 kW or greater for the most recent twelve months, ending with the current billing period, where the Customer takes electric service supplied at one point of delivery, and measured through one meter used for commercial and industrial purposes, receiving either primary or secondary service, will be increased on average approximately 1.33% with an anticipated increase in revenues of $30,031.

Rate Tariff 202.06 Outdoor & Municipal Street Lighting:
which is applicable to all Customers for pole mounted lighting and for controlled multiple street lighting from dusk to dawn will be increased 2.0% with an anticipated increase in revenues of $857.

All proposed rate tariffs are available for review at Mountain Parks Electric, Inc. offices located at 636 Main Street, Walden, Colorado, and 321 West Agate Avenue, Granby, Colorado. Anyone who desires to complain about the proposed changes shall file a written complaint with the Corporation at 321 West Agate Avenue, P O Box 170, Granby, Colorado 80446, at least 10 days before the proposed effective date. In any such complaint a request for a hearing on the complaint should be made if such a hearing is desired. The Corporation may hold a hearing to determine what changes will be authorized. The changes ultimately authorized may or may not be the same as those proposed and may include changes different than those tariffs proposed or currently in effect. Anyone who desires to receive notice of hearing, if any, shall make a written request therefor to the Corporation, at the above address, at least 10 days before the proposed effective date.
