NOTICE to MPE's member-consumers using recurring credit card payments

If you pay your Mountain Parks Electric bill using a recurring credit card transaction, you should have received notice that as of August 5, 2019, we will be unable to process your payment. This is due to an online bill payment system conversion. After the conversion, recurring credit card payments will not be an option. However, it will allow MPE to reduce its operating costs, which helps us to continue providing affordable electric rates.


Going forward, MPE will offer a recurring account payment option using automated bank draft. To sign up, simply call us at (970) 887-3378 and request the Automatic Payment Plan Application. Additionally, after August 5, you may continue make one-time credit card payments through electronic channels, such as our web site or interactive voice response. These one-time payments will require you to provide your payment information each month and will be assessed a $2 fee.
