Operation Round Up®/Charitable Trust

Operation Round Up® is supported by of the vast majority of MPE's members and is managed by a volunteer board of directors. It has disbursed thousands of dollars to community organizations and individuals. Program participants round their electric bill up to the next dollar, donating their pennies to the fund. Since its inception in 1999, $1,223,175 million has been donated to Operation Round Up and $1,201,701 has been disbursed. For more information contact us at 970-887-3378.

All charitable requests must be submitted no later than the Thursday prior to the next meeting date to be considered.

Event Sponsorships

Owned by those we serve, MPE is committed to our local communities. Our advertising budget allows us to annually sponsor a limited number of local events. MPE targets these dollars toward events that reach a significant number of our rate-paying members. For more information about how to request sponsorship dollars for your local event, scroll down.

In exchange for sponsorship dollars, MPE requires organizations to include our logo in the event's promotional advertising and signage. To request MPE sponsorship, please fill out the form below FOUR WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR EVENT DATE.

Donation Requests

If you are an individual in need, seeking financial assistance or are making a request on behalf of a charitable organization whose purpose is to give financial aid and training or education, please complete the Operation Round Up Request Form. 

If you are seeking a donation from MPE for other reasons, please complete and submit the form below: 

Donations requests are considered for review three times per year. Donation requests need to be submitted not later than 21 days before MPEI’s regular March, July and November board meetings.

The next scheduled Board review of Donation Requests will be on November 14, 2024 and your Donation Request Form must be submitted by July 23, 2023.
