OUTDOOR PHOTO CONTEST

The theme is outdoor seasonal shots. Requirement for the photos to be within MPE’s service territory (Grand and Jackson counties, as well as parts of Larimer, Routt and Summit counties) and reflective of the current season. 

  • Resolution must be at minimum of 300 DPI and 2550X3300 pixels for best digital print resolution. Most camera phone images meet this requirement; just submit the full resolution image, if prompted. If your photo doesn’t meet this resolution, it will not be included in the voting.
  • You can only win two times in a calendar year. 

Monthly Finalist Photographs

The Grand Prize winner will have received all the items listed below for the winning month + be entered to win a $500 gift certificate to B&H Photo!

The monthly prize winner will receive: 

  1. Recognition post on social media. 
  2. A chance to be featured in our monthly newsletter. 
  3. Artist bio pinned to the top of MPE’s newsletter webpage during the winning month 
  4. The chance for the photo to be included in a member calendar showcasing some of the photo contest finalists and winners from each month from the previous year to be produced and printed.

Rules:

  1. The photographer must be an MPE member. 
  2. Winning photographers must submit their bios (approx. 150 words) with a headshot.
  3. Monthly winning photos will be chosen by you! You and the rest of our followers will vote on the winning photo. 
  4. One submission per entrant per month. 
  5. We reserve the right to utilize all our digital assets as needed to conduct business. 
  6. Photographers must allow Mountain Park Electric to use winning photos in marketing material as described and in future creatives with artist credit.

WHERE'S WILLIE WIREDHAND

Where's Willie Wiredhand is a sticker photo competition featuring MPE's mascot. 

  1. Get a Willie Wiredhand sticker – these are available at MPE Headquarters, 321 W. Agate Ave., and at MPE community events
  2. Stick it somewhere interesting – must be on your property...not public or anyone else's
  3. Share a photo of your sticker – share on Facebook under our sticker competition post, tag @mountainparkselectric on Instagram, or email is to memberrelations@mpei.com
