UPDATE (Aug. 24 – 12:03 a.m.) The cause of the outage in Fraser was found to be a bird. Linemen discovered the cause and were able to restore power shortly after midnight.

(Aug. 23– 10:33 p.m.) MPE is currently responding to a large outage of around 450 meters in the Fraser area. Due to the high risk of wildfires in our area, MPE's system is set to higher sensitivity settings.

With our new outage management system software and our AMI metering system, MPE can detect and respond to most outages immediately.
