IMPORTANT: Today, numerous MPE consumers reported scam callers threatening to immediately shut off power at their home/business if they did not pay their (alleged) past due MPE bill over the phone using a credit card, and that legal action was possible. DO NOT PAY!

These scam callers often use local phone numbers and sometimes use automated messages.

MPE does not conduct business like this. We always provide multiple ways for you to pay your electric bill - by mail, over the telephone (using our IVR), via credit card and bank draft with our SmartHub app or by stopping in the Granby and Walden lobbies Monday - Thursday from 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
