Power restoration to fire-damaged area may require intermittent outages

Over the next several weeks, as MPE begins restoring electric service to fire-damaged areas, consumers in the Granby/Grand Lake areas may experience intermittent power outages. To safely make grid repairs, in some cases, MPE must temporarily de-energize power lines. We anticipate that resulting outages will last 2-4 hours, but, depending on the circumstance, possibly longer. We do not plan to de-energize power lines at night.

MPE is focused on restoring electric service to the fire-damaged areas as quickly and safely as possible.
