Our SmartHub web portal or mobile app will keep you informed and will show you where to save time and money on your bills.

SmartHub Outage Alerts
Stay informed during outages by signing up for alerts through SmartHub. You can receive alerts by text message, phone call, and/or email You’ll receive an alert when an outage begins at your service address and when power is restored.

Log in to SmartHub at mpei.com/SmartHub or on the SmartHub App: If you haven’t registered yet, choose “New User” and follow the prompts to create your account. You will need your current electric account number, name or service address.

Go to Your Account Settings: Once logged in: Select “My Account” (or the "More" menu in the app) Choose “Settings,” then “Manage Notifications” -
Choose How You Want to Receive Outage Alerts: Select “Service,” then scroll down to “Power Outage Options,” then choose how you want to be notified (you may select more than one option)

Use the account selector at the top of the screen to select the Correct Account (If You Have More Than One)

Save Your Settings: Save or confirm your notification preferences.
You’re all set! SmartHub will now send you alerts when an outage begins at your service address and when power is restored.

Using the app or web portal, you can:
- Make a payment
- Monitor your electric usage
- Sign up for email/phone outage updates/notifications
- Report an outage
- Set up Auto Pay

An email address.

Your account number. You will be able to find your account number on your latest bill. You can also call our member services team at (970) 887-3378.

Mobile: Click the “Don’t have an account? Register now” link on the app’s login page.

Web: Click on the “My Account” link on the www.mpei.com homepage or this page.

Under the "Notifications" menu, click "Manage Contacts" to add email and/or text numbers.

Enter verification code to activate.

Click on "Manage Notifications" to set up email and/or SMS alerts using the contact info you entered.

Web portal: Under the “Settings” menu, click on the “Paperless Billing” sub-menu and click the button to “Go Paperless.”

Mobile: Select “...More,” “Settings,” and Paperless Billing, then turn on this option.

On either web portal or app, click on “Bill & Pay.”

Click on “Auto Pay Program” link.

If you use your bank’s payment service to schedule payments, you will need to verify your MPE account number to ensure payments are routed properly.
