Due to the damage caused to Xcel Energy’s infrastructure by the Boulder fire, MPE’s consumers in the Fraser/Winter Park areas will experience rolling electricity blackouts over the next six to eight hours, beginning at 7:30 PM on Thursday, December 30. Electric service interruptions are estimated to last approximately one hour. The blackouts are expected help Xcel Energy maintain its natural gas delivery system.

2. Town of Winter Park and Rendezvous area
Power off: 8:30 PM, Power restored: 9:30 PM
3. Town of Fraser and Grand Park
Power off: 9:30 PM, Power restored: 10:30 PM
4. Tabernash, Devils Thumb and South Highlands
Power off: 10:30 PM, Power restored: 11:30 PM
5. Pole Creek area
Power off: 11:30 PM, Power restored: 12:30 AM
6. Winter Park Ski Resort
Power off: 12:30 AM, Power restored: 1:30 AM
