UPDATE (10/22/24):  After several inches of precipitation blanketed the area on Oct. 20-21, MPE's system has been put back to the normal settings.

___

With a forecast of hot and dry weather and the potential of wildfires, the MPE system sensitivity settings have been increased, which aids in fire mitigation but also may lead to more blinking lights or power outages. As the threat of wildfires decrease, our system settings will be returned to normal. For outage updates, please visit our online outage map at https://ow.ly/IVtN50SMLyT or by using the Outage Map link button at the top right of the https://ow.ly/wORk50SMLyQ homepage.

With our new outage management system software and our AMI metering system, MPE can detect and respond to most outages immediately. For members attempting to call our offices, the phone system can get overloaded during outage situations. Please know we are working on restoring your power as quickly and safely as possible. If your power has not been restored within a couple of hours, please feel free to try your phone call again at 970-887-3378, which is available 24/7.

Your SmartHub account can also be used to report outages. If you have not already, please consider making sure your contact information is updated and registering for outage alerts in SmartHub by clicking on the “My Account” button at the top of the https://ow.ly/wORk50SMLyQ homepage. You can receive outage and other notifications, as well as report and get updates on outages, through your SmartHub account.
