MPE’s Electric-Industry Scholarship Program provides scholarship awards ranging from $2,500 to $10,000, from an annual pool of up to $25,000, from MPE's Unclaimed Capital Credits Fund. These single-year awards are open to traditional and non-traditional applicants. Application review criteria includes how compelling/impactful each applicant’s required essay is, along with academic performance, community involvement, and work experience. Recommendations for scholarship awards are sent to the MPE Board of Directors, which has the final authority with respect to awarding scholarships.

By checking the box, you acknowledge that if you are selected as a scholarship recipient, a requirement to receive the funding is to attend MPE's Annual Meeting, usually held on a Saturday morning in late April or early May. For those with a school/athletic conflict on the date of the Annual Meeting, alternative accommodations can be made for attendance at an MPE Board Meeting during the summer.
