As our power supply becomes increasingly renewable (50% renewable by 2024), MPE is encouraging its consumer-members to put more of that energy to work in their daily lives - replacing fossil fuel-powered end uses with electric alternatives, including transportation and heating systems. To promote this idea (a.k.a. "beneficial electrification"), in September, MPE will be conducting a drawing for a free Camp Scrambler electric bike. To register, simply comment on our Facebook page e-Bike post about where you would ride the bike if you won it. MPE is also promoting beneficial electrification through its Electrify Everything program.
