Scam Alert: Stay Safe, MPE Members ⚠️

Mountain Parks Electric has been notified of phone scams where callers claim to be from a utility or MPE and demand immediate payment.

Please remember:
🚫 MPE will never ask for payment over the phone
🚫 Our employees are not allowed to take payments during a call

If a real MPE Member Services representative contacts you about your account, they will direct you to one of our secure payment options:
✔️ Automated pay-by-phone system
✔️ Online or through the SmartHub app
✔️ In person at our Granby or Walden offices

If you receive a suspicious call:
• Hang up immediately
• Do not provide payment or personal information
• Call MPE directly to verify
