UPDATE (11:25 a.m., 10/7/25) – Verizon has restored their service and MPE's metering communications is back up, meaning we are again receiving immediate power outage notifications.

Due to a Verizon outage, MPE's metering communications has a reduced ability to detect electric outages across our system. We understand this issue may also make it difficult for members to call in and report outages. If phone calls are possible via a landline or other means, power outages can be reported by calling our offices at 970-887-3378. Member services can also be reached via email at memberservices@mpei.com.
MPE is monitoring the situation closely and will provide any updates as they are available.
