In 2020, Mountain Parks Electric (MPE), with assistance from its power suppliers (Tri-State G&T and Basin Electric), awarded $71,000 in academic/vocational scholarships to 23 local graduating high school seniors. These scholarships were funded through unclaimed capital credits, not through MPE's rate base. In recognition of the students' achievements, MPE created video tributes to the winners at each school (see links below). This year's recipients include:
