(Aug. 2) System Maintenance to affect automated outage response

On Friday, Aug. 2, from around 7 a.m. until around 2 p.m., parts of Mountain Parks Electric's internal software systems will be down for system upgrades. During this time, MPE's usual automated outage response capabilities will be limited and members should call 970-887-3378 to report outages. When the system is restored, MPE's automated metering infrastructure (AMI) will again be able to detect outages as and where they occur.

MPE's system is also currently set to a higher sensitivity setting to aid in fire mitigation. This may also lead to more blinking lights or power outages.
