GRANBY, C.O. – Today, after an employee tested positive for COVID-19, Mountain Parks Electric (MPE) announced closure of its Granby office until further notice. Customer service agents, line workers and all of MPE’s Granby employees will temporarily work remotely, to ensure essential services are still provided. This includes answering phone calls and restoring power outages.

The Granby office will remain closed while it is disinfected by a professional cleaning crew. Until then, new electric service connections will be placed on hold.

As before, MPE’s consumers can still call (970) 887-3378 for assistance, or manage their account electronically via MPE’s web site (mpei.com) or by downloading the SmartHub app.

Out of an abundance of caution over the COVID-19 pandemic, MPE closed its offices to the public in March.
